No! Our boat is federally permitted, meaning all licenses and permits are held by the boat and any paying customer gets to take advantage of this! We have it all covered for you.
Generally, no. Our vessel is outfitted with enough life jackets for every person on board at any time. For parents who want peace of mind, feel free to bring one for your child to wear. We recommend finding one that is USCG approved for the correct weight of your child. As for adults, you don't need to put one on unless you see our crewmembers putting one on!
That is an individual question that we cannot predict the answer to. Of course we hope it doesn't happen! But, occasionally it does. If you are worried you may get seasick, the best tool is prevention. You can aid yourself in preventing seasickness by taking Dramamine the night before your trip and also the morning of. There are also ear patches, wrist patches, oils, and other OTC and RX remedies available to help you with this. We suggest you research the best method for yourself and plan accordingly.
All fish caught are subject to season closures, size restrictions, and bag limits. That being said, there is always something in season! The weather here is predictably unpredictable. It may downpour for 30 minutes and be sun shiny the rest of the day. While the captain and crew cannot control the weather, they do monitor it closely to ensure safety for all passengers, all of the time. Due to our limited seasonal schedule, our booking agent requires a nonrefundable 20% deposit at the time of booking. We do not issue refunds. You will pay your remaining trip balance to Capt Chris on the day of your trip. Your trip balance is the total cost of your trip minus the 20% deposit you paid the booking service to secure your date. We accept cash and credit card payments for a 4% fee.
